Cost of this course is €180, deposit required €60, only 6 available places.
This course is a follow on from our beginners sewing course. If you’re comfortable with your sewing machine basics but have yet to tackle a pattern, this is the course for you. You will sew a t-shirt, learning how to read a pattern and alter it to fit. You will also learn how to set a sleeve, sew a bias binding and hem. At the end of the course, you will have the basic sewing skills that will allow you to further develop your sewing skills on your own.
The pattern will be provided but you will have to supply your own fabric. Larger equipment such as sewing machines will be provided, but you will need a basic sewing kit of your own. The sewing kit should include:
• Fabric scissors
• Tape measure
• Pins
• Needles
• Seam ripper
• Tailors’ chalk
Class numbers are limited so we can ensure that each student gets individual attention. These mean classes fill up fast so book early!
