As a follow up to the recent successful RE-DIRECT Biochar and Activated Carbon Conference held in Claremorris Co Mayo in late October, the Irish Bioenergy Association (IrBEA) and the Western Development Commission (WDC) invites you to a presentation, where the main finding of the finalised Biochar & Activated Carbon Market Study Report completed by Miltcon Services Ltd will be presented. This will be followed by a RE-DIRECT Biochar Stakeholders workshop. The aims and objectives of the follow-on stakeholder’s workshop will be to discuss how the REDIRECT project and its Irish Partners (IrBEA and WDC) can aid and assist the development of an Irish Biochar and Activated Carbon sector which has huge potential in terms of the circular economy, climate change, emissions reduction and decarbonisation. This event is another important milestone on the road to development of the sector here.
