I am so delighted to announce the commencement of our 1st Professional Counselling Course in Autumn 2018.
This course is a comprehensive diploma course ran over one weekend a month for fours (excluding August).
This course is part-time weekends over four years - QCF award from level 3 - level 6 equivalent to Level 8 QQI, which means when the regulation for CORU comes in force, we will meet this requirement.
The diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling which is awarded on completion of Year 4 of the programme meets the criteria of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP).

Embarking on Practice
Integrating Theory and Practice
Approaches to Working with Grief and Loss
Externally assessed study of supervised practice
Ethical and Legal Issues
Research in Counselling

All modules must be completed in order to complete the Professional Counselling Diploma Course. In the event a student is unable to attend a module, efforts will be made to accommodate the student at a date suitable for both parties. Facilitating this is at the discretion of the Tutor.
The early bird price of the Counsellor Practitioner Diploma Course is €2500 per year, which is a saving of €1980 over the whole course. To avail of this fees a deposit of €750 needs to be paid before 31st July 2018. There is also a payment plan available. This is paid by €750 deposit and €193 per month for four years, or as agreed with the non clinical director. prices include examination fees, all course hand books, case study templates.
in Year 3 and 4 - we will help with your placement if not in our training area, with satellite therapy rooms in appropriate areas.
Within 12 months we shall be going forward to achieve our accreditation status with IACP.
