Cork - Boots Night Walk for Night Nurses - Blackrock Castle
Come and join us in raising much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing service. Bring your family and friends along & join us in our 5km Night Walk for Night Nurses. You can also help support by purchasing a Night Walk tag at € 2 in any of our stores in honour of someone who has been affected by cancer. These are on sale across our stores from the end of June onwards. The Night Walk tags will then be displayed at the respective walk. Since partnering with the Irish Cancer Society back in 2012 we have raised over €1.6 million or 4,645 nights for this much needed service which provides free end of life care allowing patients to remain in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and loved ones. The walk will commence from the Blackrock Castle - Car Park A and the route will follow along the Lough Mahon Public Walk down to the bridge and returning back to the carpark again. Thank you for your support & look forward to seeing you there.
