KRSP Medieval Mile Run 2018
Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership and Yulefest, invite everybody to lace up their running shoes and get out to run/walk in the 2nd Medieval Mile Run.
On Friday, December 7th at 7.30pm, runners, joggers, walkers, hand cyclists, of all ages will dash through the streets of Kilkenny. This Yulefest event will take place on closed streets under Kilkenny’s magical Christmas lights.
The route will take runners from St Francis Bridge up Dean Street for a sharp turn around, back down into Irishtown, up High Street to a big finish at Kilkenny Castle.All participants must be registered to take part. There are two ways to register:
1. €10 timed event - includes an exclusive designed running top which can be picked up either the day before the event or on the evening. We will have a selection of sizes from XS to XXL to pick from on the night (we are not taking size orders).
2. FREE registration - Casual run/walk (no timing chip / NO running top)
** Children can run for FREE but they MUST be registered beforehand and accompanied by a parent at all times during the night (ratio 1 parent to 2 children). ***All children will receive a finishing medal and refreshments.Medieval Mile finisher shirts will be handed out at race number pick up (time to be advised). ONLY THOSE REGISTERED WILL BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART in the event. All participants must sign in at event headquarters on the night from 5.30pm.
