Wujow is the brainchild of Dublin electronicist Patrick McAdam known for his previous productions with popular Dublin band Plutonic Dust. Wujow brings a blend of acid house bass lines, dreamy synths along with pulsating beats to your senses. A Wujow set is performed live on modular synths and drum machines being brought to life in places such as Body and Soul this year. His song “Metropolis” features in just released movie “Dublin OldSchool” and with an E.P. in the works, Wujow is definitely one to watch out for this year.
Jake, a Dublin native has a background in Jazz and is heavily influenced by Jungle and Footwork. Cork born Oisin has a more melodic and ambient tone favouring Minimal Techno and acid house. Combining these styles with their mutual love of live electronic music has given life to Botanical. The duo perform a live set incorporating all of these genres.Their goal is to create something new and diverse, a fresh take on Acid that has melody and ambience while upholding deep and heavy grooves with a healthy dose of Techno.
Originally from Banagher in Offaly, Darren has been playing Techno around the city over the past couple of months. He performs very unique live sets featuring an accordion and a synthesiser that coincide with Ableton live, really telling a story, progressing and constantly keeping attention along the way. It focuses on House and Techno with a unique Irish twist, but still keeping the form factor of the genres. Your in for a treat with this one.
