DLR Summer Heritage 250 years in Old Dunleary Tour

Summer of Heritage Series Dun Laoghaire Rathdown - Free Guided Tour
The tiny fishing village of Dunleary with its own
little harbour, coffee house and Martello tower was
changed beyond recognition by the development
of the “Royal Harbour” from 1818, and again by the
railway in 1834.
It then developed a unique history of
gasworks and chemical industries before maturing
as a desirable office and residential location.
