Thu, 07 Mar 2019 - Thu, 11 Apr 2019
18:30 - 22:30

Coldworking is changing the shape and surface texture of glass using tools and processes.

In this 6 week course students will learn to shape glass by grinding, cutting and sawing glass objects.

Functional and sculptural projects can be explored using ready available materials. The fully equipped studio will allow students to explore how to use diamond saws, grinding machines, belt sanders and cutting lathes, to texture, shape and sculpt glass. Instruction on design, planning and execution of the project will be given on an individual basis.

Each class will include demonstrations and safety instruction, by fully trained staff. All materials are included.
