Glórious is an empowering workshop series of Yoga and Journaling for Young Women aged 13 - 19 finding their voice. It is a guided journey in confidence, creativity, and identity connecting us to our inner voice, power and song.
Tuesdays 17.00 - 18.00
6 Week Course
We create awareness, strength, space and power in the body as we move together through a flowing Yoga sequence. We learn the expansiveness of the breath, the balance of strength and ease, and the warmth of relaxation.
We use the practice of journaling and creative expression to become more aware of our unique inner voice, connecting us to our values and intentions, and creating an avenue for our creativity. We build trust within the group and facilitate group discussion and reflection on topics arising in our lives and reflecting on the work we are doing together.
We support and encourage the development of a home practice with guidance provided on a short and simple Yoga sequence to follow, and with weekly prompts and suggestions given to continue the home practice of creative journaling and self reflection. It is in the true integration of Glórious into our daily lives where we can really feel the benefits.
Throughout our time together we will work with themes such as connection, voice, values, joy and presence.

Are there minimum/maximum age requirements?
Glórious is aimed for young women aged 13 - 19, however we can flexible with those a little younger or a little older. Please feel free to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for further info.
Do I need parental/gaurdianship consent?
Yes. For insurance purposes you will need to bring a signed copy of consent with you to our first class. This letter of consent will be emailed to you once you have made a booking.
I'm new to Yoga, is this course suitable for me?
Yes. All levels and abilities are most welcome.
What do I need to bring with me?All mats and Yoga equipment is provided. Wear warm and comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Layers are always good. Please bring a new notebook or journal that you like and a pen.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?There is plenty of on street parking around Blackpitts, New Market Square, and nearby Kevin Street. There are lots of cafés and restaurants on nearby Camden St for any parents/guardians/general transporters!
