National Launch of PPFS Research Findings: Our Research - Future Actions
09:15 - 23:59
This national event hosted by the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, NUI Galway in partnership with Tusla - Child and Family Agency, will highlight our main research findings and recommendations for policy and practice from Tusla’s Development and Mainstreaming Programme for Prevention, Partnership and Family Support (PPFS). The national launch will be held on Thursday, 13 September, at 10:00am (registration opens at 9:15am) at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin and will bring together key stakeholders at senior level from Tusla and partner organisations, government departments and community and voluntary sectors working with and for Tusla's PPFS Programme. The event will focus on: Informing key national policy makers and statutory and non-statutory agency leaders about the main findings from the research and evaluation study on the Programme for Prevention, Partnership and Family Support. Presenting a set of policy, service and practice imperatives that are evidenced in the research and evaluation study. Highlighting the potential of prevention, early intervention and family support in achieving positive outcomes of children, young people and parents on an inter-departmental and inter-sectoral basis, based on the research and evaluation study’s evidence. Given the significance of the PPFS Programme and your support for our research over the last four years, we hope that the event would be of interest to you and we would be delighted if you could attend.
