Young Voices National Implementation Project 2018 (NIP) JOIN US FOR MEETING TWO! Friday June 8th 10.30am - 3.30pm The second meeting of the Young Voices 'National Implementation Project'! For those who have already signed up! For those who couldn't make the last event! For those who have just heard about the amazing work of Young Voices! For those who are interested in being a delegate for the next EU Youth Conference in Austria early in September. (check out youth.ie/youngvoices for more info) For those who are sitting exams while we are doing YV stuff, we will think of you! The TWO priorities chosen at our previous meeting are; 1. Building resilience, self awareness and confidence in Education 2. Supporting young people to travel, in particular young refugees and undocumented young people.Our aim for the day is to build knowledge and understanding of these issues so that we can explore how we might progress them as issues within Ireland.We will also be checking in with progress on the drafting of the new EU Youth Strategy for which many of you were involved in the consultation. Who: Young people 15-30yrs old who are interested in having their voice heard and getting involved in making positive change in Ireland and Europe! Where: The Gresham Hotel in Dublin When: Three more dates - Fri June 8th, Tues August 14th and Sat October 20th 2018. Why: Because young people's ideas and proposals are crucial for how we create the best future Ireland for all!How / Deadline: The deadline is Friday 1st June 2018. Please sign up for the remaining 3 meetings in June, August and October. You cannot attend without being registered and having a consent form filled in if under 18yrs. Under 18? You must fill out a consent form so please email a scan/take picture and send to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 1st June. Youth Workers attending with young people will be asked to remain with young people for the duration of the event. ORIGINAL INFO BELOW... JOIN THE MOVEMENT! Are you interested in being involved in a group who will meet four times in 2018 to work on key issues for young people in Ireland? Can you imagine a potentially positive impact that could effect change from working on the following topics; The four priorities from Cycle V of Structured Dialogue include; 1. Building resilience, self awareness and confidence in Education 2. Supporting young people to travel, in particular young refugees and undocumented young people. 3. Developing EU Youth festivals that combine social, cultural and political activities are a way of helping young people connect with Europe. 4. To be at its best, Youth Work needs sufficient funding. What: Joining the young voices youth group for 4 meetings to explore, investigate and prioritise an action from within the headings above that will have a positive impact for young people in Ireland. Meeting 1. Mapping possibilities, identifying potential impacts, choosing priority area. Meeting 2. Connecting with Stakeholders/Decision makers who can support implementation Meeting 3. Consolidating ideas to develop a proposal for implementation. Meeting 4.
