Monthly Restore & Meditate

This monthly class is held on the first Friday of every month and is designed to help you unwind from your week leaving you feeling calm, focused and light hearted to enjoy your weekend ahead.
We begin with breath work (pranayama) to assist you with grounding yourself and releasing the stresses of your week from your mind.
We then perform a series of restorative yoga postures that will release tension from the muscles and joints. As the name suggests these postures will be very gentle, we use props such as bolsters and blocks leaving the posture easy to perform.
We conclude with an introduction to the basics of meditation where you will learn skills that you can put into practice at home.
This class is suitable for a complete novice to a long time practitioner. For the beginner the postures are easy to perform and for the long time practitioner the easy postures are a yin to an often strenuous yang yoga practice.
