The Irish Open, 2018

Fri, 20 Jul 2018 - Sun, 22 Jul 2018
09:00 - 17:30

Welcome to the 4th Edition of the IRISH OPEN, which takes place from the 20th - 22nd JULY 2018 in the stunning surrounds of Highfield Golf & Country Club, just 30 minutes from Dublin city.

The event is an FIFG500 and there is a guaranteed prize pool of €5,000.

The tournament is set on a beautiful 18-hole golf course that boasts a spectacular first tee-off from the roof of the main clubhouse - a world first - and something every avid footgolfer should experience at least once in their career.

Friday 20th is the official Practice Day, followed by two days of competition on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd.

The awards ceremony will be held no later than 5pm on Sunday 22nd so those wishing to get a late flight home should be looking at an 7:30pm or later flight.

Like last year, we have 3 categories:
Pro: €150 (competing for 70% of available prize money)
Amateur: €110 (competing for 20% of available prize money)
Ladies: €75 (competing for 10% of available prize money)

The pro category is open to absolutely everyone. The amateur category is only open to players who finished outside the Top 200 of the FIFG World Tour, and/or outside the Top 50 of the EFT European Tour.

Accommodation options will be announced very shortly and will range from between €30 - €45 per person per night, including breakfast.

Car Hire is essential, and rates for July are currently less than €30 per day, so divided by 4 passengers is very reasonable.

All other details will be announced as and when we get them to hand.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, 26th February.
