The cycle starts from Marymount Hospice and goes along a very scenic West Cork route, which is reasonably flat (well it is December after all!). This makes it an ideal training cycle for clubs and cyclists alike. Below is a map of the Midi Cracker and Maxi Cracker cycles. The Christmas Cracker Cycle in aid of Marymount supported by MSD is an important event in Marymount's fundraising calendar with all proceeds from this event going directly to help Marymount. In the spirit of the event we do not charge a fee to take part, but instead ask for a donation from all participants who get on their bikes for Marymount. All proceeds of this events goes towards the work of Marymount. In 2016 Marymount supported more than 3,000 families in Cork. Each year Marymount needs to raise €3 million in order for it to continue to provide its services. In 2017 we are supported by MSD Brinny to make this our best Christmas Cracker Cycle yet. We are aiming for more than 500 cyclists this year - Christmas attire optional but recommended! As well as helping us, the organising committee also want to make sure we provide you with an enjoyable and fun event. Refreshments will be served in Marymount during registration from 8am. Mince pies and festive treats will be served in Marymount Hospice on return. There will be prizes for the best costume and for the most generous club. The fun 6km family cycle is also a great way to get the little people of Cork moving on their bikes for a great cause! So pease sign up today, have some festive cheer on your bike and support the work of Marymount. And of course please stay safe on the roads.
