Nutrition 4 Life long-term course will run over the winter/ spring months
In its third year, this course gives you the opportunity to spend five weekends with an experienced Nutritional Therapist, dedicated to providing you with an intimate learning experience which encompasses health & nutrition in a practical, hands-on way. The course is limited to ten places, which insures a quality experience for all. Suitable for all, from teens to the golden years. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
The venue is situated in the picturesque Slieve Aughty hills with panoramic views of Lough Derg, located on the river Shannon. The course is made up of five weekends, running over a period of five months, which allows for the personal implementation of the course material. The course runs Saturday's and |Sunday's from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
A fresh and delicious four-course set lunch will be served daily, with tea and refreshments included throughout the day. All our produce is organic, locally sourced or homegrown. All starter cultures including sour-dough, water & milk kefir, Bulgarian & Caspian yoghurt’s, kombucha etc. will be provided in your take-home packs.
Participants will learn about the 4 pillars of Nutrition – Fats, Proteins, Carbohydrates and Super-foods. And also gain an in-depth understanding of the positive and negative effects of nutritional choices and how they impact on our digestion and vitality, which seriously affects our everyday lives.
