Single-Session Therapy: Its use in CBT and Other Therapeutic Approaches Presented by Professor Windy Dryden
Professor Windy Dryden presents a new workshop in which he demonstrates how to work with clients for one session and achieve realistic but positive results. The workshop will outline the basis of Single-Session Therapy (SST) and show, in particular, how it can provide help at the point of client need. An integrated approach to SST utilising a number of CBT and other techniques and strategies will be presented that can be incorporated into your existing therapeutic practice (or coaching) or used as a stand-alone intervention. You will be hearing about the therapy directly from the treatment-developer. Professor Dryden will discuss the use of session transcripts and recordings for the client to take away and use, where the approach can and can't be applied and practical suggestions to follow. Real life (not role played) demonstrations of a single session approach with volunteers will be presented.
