Stained Glass For Beginners - Tiffany Style
Create your own coloured glass panel or object, with a skilled teacher to guide you through each step. This six week course, covers the basic principles of glass cutting, foiling and assembly so that you can make your own copper foil creations.
In this course students will create a small project from a variety of patterns. Learn to design a pattern, cut glass pieces to measure, and apply copper foil before soldering the object together. This is an ideal course to use as a starting project to introduce you to making larger panels and more complicated objects. Copper foil is used as an alternative to lead came to hold separate glass pieces together with solder. It is used usually for delicate indoor projects like light catchers, Christmas decorations and tiffany lamps.
All materials will be supplied. When you are finished with this class, you will be able to create your own stained glass panel! Join us for this stained glass experience!
